It's not 5 things or 3 things, but just 1 thing you can do for your health. It's easy - raise the water temperature you drink. It doesn't have to be piping hot, but raise your drink and food temperature. That means avoiding cold food and drink like smoothies, ice cream, and cold salad.
Why? I often talk about how your body should have a smooth flow. The easiest environment for the smooth flow to happen is to maintain a certain temperature. It is much easier for your body if it doesn't have to work hard to maintain the certain temperature.
When I talk about drinking hot water, someone almost always says, "But, they say you lose weight by drinking cold water because your body burns calories to raise the temperature." That's one way to look at it. Then, I would like to ask, "Do you use hot water or cold water when doing dishes, especially the greasy ones?" Everyone knows hot water is better at getting the grease off.
Can you imagine what happens to your body when you have ice cold drink after eating greasy french fries? For the same reason why you wouldn't use ice cold water to do the dishes, you don't want to put ice cold drink in your body.
